It does pop up to say you have it when you boot up the game, but as the map files don t exist in the PC version the quest itself just never triggers. There's been no confirmed report of anyone actually getting access to the quest in-game. Do know that if you install the mod, the quest and items are not unlocked permanently and will disappear if you remove the mod at least until the 1 year exclusivity contract with PS5 expires. PS5 quest and pre-order items DO exist within existing PC files, but must be unlocked via a mod currently.
(Unless you use a mod :P) The quest can't be unlocked via mod though as the map files don't exist in the game, people have already tried xD The exclusive potion recipe was a PS pre-order recipe so I don't know we'll ever get that. Sadly that's most likely when a lot of the hype will have died out and there will be less people playing. Why the hell does Sony insist on having console exclusives for games made by studios owned by Microsoft? It makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense! I would say they more than deserve to have a few games blocked from their consoles. Microsoft has no issues licensing their games to Nintendo, but Sony refuses to cooperate in any meaningful way with them.
Sony pays for 1 extra quest and PC gamers are up in arms. MS can buy whole publishers to keep games like Starfield and Redfall off of Sony's consoles completely but PC gamers don't seem to mind that because it does not affect them.
